2015 was a wonderful year here at Grace Pointe Community. This was the year that we boldly declared to be The Year of Changed Lives.During this year we witnessed a lot of Change. We saw multiple Changes in the lives of many people in the Bible. We also saw the Changed Lives of numerous people within our own Church Family, and we also saw changes in the appearance of our own sanctuary. Lastly, we saw Changes in the way that we do outreach. During 2015 we launched a major media outreach where we developed our own YouTube Channel, Website, and Phone App.
During this year we reached over 40,000 people for Jesus and the Kingdom. The nice thing about Change is that with God it is never too late for Change, and likewise it is not to late to be apart of our 2015 Year of Changed Lives here at GracePointe Community. This page contains every sermon and Changed Life video that we published in 2015 at the start of our Media Outreach. Thank you for joining us and being apart of that Change. If you would like to see an overview of our year check out the video to the top right.

In this sermon series we spotlight the first Church, in the Book of Acts. We look to their examples in hope of becoming a Church that glorifies God in all that we do, and one that is actively advancing God's Kingdom; both internally, and externally.

In this sermon series we look to the Book of Psalms and their wonderful praises of joy, and thanksgiving. From these Psalms we learn how to communicate and express ourselves to God. In this sermon series we cover a wide range of topics such as: checking our motives, expecting favor, experiencing God, and having a correct understanding of who He is. It is our prayer that these sermons bless and enrich your lives, just as they have ours.

Psalm 8:
Heavenly Love

In this first sermon from our Summer in the Psalms series, Pastor Scot reflects on the truths found in Psalm 8. In this sermon Scot reminds us that even when we feel small, and insignificant that the Lord is mindful of us. We also see that regardless of our thoughts or feelings, that the Lord loves us with an unmeasurable love and has placed the highest honor on men and women above all of His creation.

Psalm 118:
His Love Endures Forever

In this second sermon from the "Summer of Psalms" series, Pastor Scot teaches from Psalm 118. In this sermon we come to see that in the midst of our troubles and valley's that God is for us and his love for us endures forever. And if God is for us then who could be against us?

Psalm 103:
Bless The Lord O' My Soul

In this third sermon from our Summer in the Psalms series, Pastor Scot talks about how we tend to not truly realize what we have got in life until it is gone. Scot points to King David and his same struggle in this area when David discovered the solution to this problem. David teaches us to "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits." (103:2). In remembering what God has entrusted to us, and praising Him, for his many blessings, we in turn are blessed.

Psalm 139:
Somebody Loves Me

In this Sermon from our "Summer in the Psalms" series, Pastor Scot turns our attention to Psalm 139. In this particular Psalm and sermon, we learn that despite our difficulties, and shortcomings;  we are are fearfully and wonderfully made. We also clearly see our Purpose and Value, in light of the fact regardless of these flaws that "Somebody Loves Us."

Psalm 128:
A Plan For The Man

In this sermon from our Summer in the Psalms series, Pastor Scot teaches us from Psalm 128. In this sermon we see the high level of importance and responsibility that God places on fathers. We also see in this Psalm that there are things that fathers can do to ensure that our families are blessed and strong.

Psalm 23:
The Shepherd & His Sheep

In this sermon from our Summer in the Psalms series, Pastor Larry talks about how there are different paths that people take in life. A lot of these paths lead people astray, and ultimately leave them lost and without purpose. However, Psalm 23 shows us that King David did not have this problem, because he knew where he was going. How did he know this? Simple; because he had a Shepherd who was leading him.

Psalm 42:
Experience God

In this sermon from our Summer In The Psalms series, Pastor Scot teaches us the importance of Remembering. As a matter of fact, the Word of God teaches us that one of the best ways to fix the things that are wrong in our lives and to heal the wounds of our soul is to "remember" certain things. This was certainly the case with King David in Psalm 42, and as you listen to this sermon you will see that this same truth still applies to us today.

A Collection Of Psalms Sing

In this sermon from our Summer in the Psalms series, pastor Scot teaches us the importance of singing to God and why we should sing to God.

Psalm 10:
Listen To Me

In this sermon from our Summer In The Psalms Series, Pastor Scot talks about how at times life seems to hit us pretty hard, and Heaven seems silent to our questions. In this sermon, Scot reveals a threefold process found within the Psalm for dealing with our own questions and problems when life throws us through a loop.

Psalm 122:
Why Church?

In this sermon from our Summer In the Psalms series, Pastor Scot answers the question of why we should go to church. There seems to be more reasons as to why people do not wish to go to church, than the reasons they should come. Some of the reasons people give for not coming to church are: being too busy already, church seems irrelevant to their lives, or to be perfectly honest, some don't come to church because they believe it is boring. Regardless of the reasons that people have for not coming, there are quite a few great reasons why they should come. In this sermon Scot teaches us these important truths

Psalm 5:
Expect Favor

As we continue our “Summer in the Psalms” series, Pastor Scot teaches us that although prayer empowers our lives, we do not make use of this tremendous resource nearly as much as we should, or could. In this Psalm, Scot teaches us five keys to praying more effectively.

Psalm 51:
Check Your Motive

In this weeks sermon Pastor Scot teaches us that in order to please God our hearts must be right. In the Old Testament, God ordained a sacrificial system in order to provide atonement for the sins of the people. He also established procedures for peace offerings, gifts, and other celebrations throughout the year. Although, these procedures were important, and reflected obedience, the most important thing to God was the heart of the giver. Scot challenges us to look at our own sacrifices and gifts to God today, while checking our own motives in the process.

Psalm 63:
Cling

In this sermon, Pastor Joey continues with our Summer In the Psalms series. Joey talks about how the Psalmist was going through the wringer and how, during this trial, he was hungering, thirsting, and clinging to God with all he had. Likewise, we learn in this sermon the importance of clinging to God, not just when we are in trouble, but before our day of need arises.

Psalm 147:3
Healing The Scars

In this final sermon from our Summer in the Psalms series, Pastor Scot reminds us that life is tough on all of us. Scot talks about how the multiple hurts of life leave us with hidden scars. This sermon focuses on healing those hidden scars in our lives.

Psalm 16:
He Is...

Continuing in our "Summer In The Psalms" series, Pastor Chuck talks about some of the various misconceptions about God and teaches on why it is so important to have a correct understanding of who He is, and what our appropriate response to Him should look like.

Psalm 100:
He Is God And He Is Good

This week we come to Psalm 100 in our Summer in the Psalms Series. As we look at this Psalm, Pastor Scot shows us some things about true worship, likening our connection with the Holy Spirit to that of a finely tuned instrument. Is your spirit in tune? Watch this sermon to find out!

Whether you are a member of our church family or not, this sermon will speak to your heart and to your day to day life.

In this sermon series we have elected to put out a full disclosure. In this sermon series entitled “Daring Faith: The Key to Miracles” Your Faith will be:Stretched, Challenged, Poked, Prodded, and Made to Feel Real Uncomfortable We will do this because, we don’t grow in comfort; growth is often uncomfortable. As you join us for this series we dare you to exercise Daring Faith. To find out more about our Daring Faith program click here!

DARING FAITH:
KEY TO MIRACLES - PART 1

In this first sermon from our Daring Faith Series, Pastor Scot teaches what Faith is and what Faith is not. We also learn here of the consequences that happen when we see through the Eyes of Fear as opposed to the Eyes of Faith.

DARING FAITH:
KEY TO MIRACLES - PART 2

In part two of our Daring Faith series, Pastor Scot shows us the relationship between our imagination and our faith. We also see in this sermon that our imagination is essential to living on Daring Faith.

DARING FAITH:
KEY TO MIRACLES - PART 3

In this third sermon from our Daring Faith series Pastor Scot has us look at three analogies from the Bible; the solider, the athlete, and the farmer. Through these Biblical examples we see that the greatest tragedy in life is not death, but is a wasted life. That is why the Bible exhorts is to “show our faith by our works” (James 2:17-18). As you watch this sermon you will see that our faith, or our Daring Faith, for that matter, and our works are inseparable.

DARING FAITH:
KEY TO MIRACLES - PART 4

In this fourth sermon from our Daring Faith series, Pastor Scot teaches on the law of God's Harvest; God has set in motion the laws of sowing and laws of harvest. In this particular sermon we are challenged, or dared if you will, to Plant in Faith based upon God's Laws.

DARING FAITH:
KEY TO MIRACLES - PART 5

In this sermon from our Daring Faith series, Pastor Scot shows us the connection between our faith and our generosity. In the Bible the number one thing that God has promises about is generosity. As a matter of fact, there are more promises related to generosity in the Bible than any other subject. So what is generosity? Why is God so interested in Generosity? You will see in this sermon that the answer is because Generosity is Love in Action!

DARING FAITH:
KEY TO MIRACLES - PART 6

In this final sermon from our Daring Faith Series, Pastor Larry talks about two important truths from Scripture. First, how Jesus has invited all of us to come to Him; Matthew 11:28 records the words of Jesus, “Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Secondly, once we have come to Jesus, we are then commanded to “Go,” Matthew 28:19 writes “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Our challenge to you today is; Are you Coming, or Going?

Taking A Risk To Get Out Of The Ordinary

In this sermon Pastor Scot likens the use of everyday ordinary post-it notes to the little things that God tells us from time to time. Is God leaving you little messages here and there?

We elected to place this sermon series last, because the series interwove itself throughout the entire year of 2015. There were more sermons for this series; however, we did not launch our 2015 Media Outreach until March of that year. Therefore, we are missing a few great sermons on various Changed Lives.

In this sermon series, we see how encounters with God in the Old and New Testament lead individuals to leave their past behind, and embrace the change that God wanted to do in their lives. We also see how the changed lives of these Biblical personalities applies to us and our life today!

Changed Lives:
King David

This was our very first published sermon. It was somewhat of a test run. Therefore, is is more of an audio sermon than a video sermon. Here is Pastor Scot's sermon on the changed life of King David, and how that change applies to us today!

Changed Lives:
Timothy

In honor of Mother's Day, Pastor Lavonne Brown speaks on the Changed Life Of Timothy. Lavonne shows us how a mother's influence contributes to our children's walk with the Lord.

Changed Lives:
Abraham

This week we jump back into our “Year of Changed Lives” Series. In this sermon Pastor Scot points to the changed life of Abraham. In 2 Chronicles 16:9 we see that “the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him;” Abraham, was one such person. The same eyes that searched the face of the earth thousands of years ago still search it to this day. Will His eyes find that your heart is loyal to Him?

Changed Lives:
Joseph

In this weeks sermon, Pastor Scot points to the Changed Life of Joseph. As a young man, Joseph was boastful and proud. However, after coming to truly know God, Joseph was a man of integrity. In this lesson we see that integrity does not always involve fighting temptation and winning, sometimes integrity is fleeing from it as fast as you can.

Changed Lives:
The Woman At The Well

In this sermon from our Year of Changed Lives series, Pastor Scot points to the changed life of The Woman at the Well in John 4. We see here that when the light of the world (Jesus) shined on the darkness of this woman's life, the darkness had to flee. This sermon challenges us to shine that same light on any area of our lives.
